Keys to Success
We all strive for success in many aspects of our lives: professional, academic, social, and spiritual. We can summarize the most important keys to success:
1. A personal and authentic relationship with God
"Abide in me, and I in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me." (John 15:4)
A true and personal relationship with God is not merely intellectual knowledge or the accumulation of information. Rather, it is a living connection described by the Lord Jesus Christ as the branch connected to the vine, drawing life and bearing fruit.
2. The Bible is your compass
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night... Then you will prosper in your way." (Joshua 1:8)
Success begins with studying the Word and living in obedience, which will be your compass for life and a lamp for your path.
3. Complete Trust in the Lord, in His love and goodness
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)
4. Daily prayer that gives you strength and fruitfulness, not prayer as a habit, but rather a longing to connect with God.
"Without me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)
5. Living faithfully in the small and big things of our lives.
"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much." (Luke 16:10)
6. Work hard and strive for success and do not be lazy
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might." (Ecclesiastes 9:10) 7. Seek God’s will in all decisions, especially fateful ones.
"But you say, ‘If the Lord wills, we will live". We do this or that." (James 4:15) Success is linked to God’s will, not just our own plans.
8. Love people as Christ loves them and serve them from the heart
"Whoever wants to become great among you will be your servant." (Mark 10:43)
9. Live with gratitude and thanks
"Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything, give thanks." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
10. Faith
"All things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23)
