“Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” (Luke 13:12).
The Bible tells us
A woman had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years, and she was bowed down and could not at all straighten herself up.
12"When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are released from your infirmity."
13 "And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God." (Luke 13:11-13)
The Lord saw the woman who was bent over among the crowd. He called her and laid his hands on her and healed her bent over. He saw her weakness, her sadness and her fatigue. He saw her need and solved her problem.
The Lord sees, hears and feels every inner bend in us.
Sometimes we see people with all their elegance and laughter.
They show others that they are fine.
But the Lord sees the inner bend and knows that they are not fine. He knows that they are broken inside.
The Lord knows that many people have Inner bowing from internal pains and suffering
Bowing from sadness for the loss of a loved one
Or inner bowing from frustration and failure
Or inner bowing from destructive relationships
Or inner bowing from material or emotional need
The Lord sees, hears and feels every inner bowing we have
The Lord just wants us to lift our eyes up and trust in His love and power
and go to the One who said:"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28).
The enemy of souls wants us to see the earth
We see things with limitations.
We only pity ourselves
And live a life of bowing and humiliation
But the Lord wants us to lift our eyes up and trust and believe in heavenly help and solutions.
The Prophet David was addressing his inner self and saying to it: "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you groan within me? Have hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, the salvation of my face and my God." (Psalm 43:5).
We only have to praise the Lord and thank Him
And say to Him, Raise me up, O Lord
Raise up my inner self
He alone is able to strengthen our resolve
He alone is able to heal every wound and every bowing, and every humiliation and every neglect and every contempt and every need.
He alone gives us appreciation and value and raises our status
We only have to ask
Jesus said: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7).
Our Heavenly Father
Help my weakness and my bowing. Raise me up, O Spirit of God, and I am confident that it is not by power or strength, but by the power of your Spirit, O Lord
Raise me up, O Holy Spirit of God
Good morning to you with the light of Christ
