Jesus Christ, according to the Christian faith, is God manifest in the flesh, the Son of God, and the Savior of the world.
During his time on earth, people were confused about his identity. Some said he was John the Baptist, others Elijah, and still others considered him one of the prophets. Even his disciples wondered in astonishment: "Who is this?"
But Jesus simply and powerfully declared himself: "I am"—a divine expression that takes us back to what God said to Moses: "I am who I am."
In the Gospel of John, Jesus proclaimed seven statements that reveal who He is and what He offers to humanity:
"I am the bread of life" – for those who hunger for truth
"I am the light of the world" – for those walking in darkness
"I am the door" – for those seeking salvation
"I am the good shepherd" – for those who have lost their way
"I am the resurrection and the life" – for those who fear death
"I am the way, the truth, and the life" – for those seeking God
"I am the true vine" – for those who desire steadfastness and fruitfulness
Each of these statements reveals the profound love of Christ and His ability to save humanity from sin and grant them eternal life.
This is made clear in the book: "I Am – The Revelations of Christ About Himself"
