"For if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9).
Has Christ risen in our lives?
Or is He still crucified within us?
Some still do not acknowledge Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives.
And some are unable to utter the words "My Lord and my God" and are ashamed to proclaim them. The Lord is still waiting for faith from the heart.
The Lord is still waiting for this acknowledgment that He is King and Lord. In our hearts, the Lord is waiting to rise in our lives and raise us from the control of the enemy of souls (Satan) and clothe us in the robe of righteousness and victory over all our weaknesses. This requires faith in the heart. The Lord continues to reveal himself to every person who doubts him. If we seek Jesus after his resurrection, he appeared to the disciples, but Thomas, one of Christ’s disciples, was not there.
5 Then the other disciples said to him, "We have seen the Lord!" Then Thomas said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and put my finger into the mark of the nails and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."
26 After eight days, his disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Then Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, saying, "Peace be with you!"
27 Then he said to Thomas,"Put your finger here and see my hands; and put your hand and place it in my side. Do not be faithless, but believing."
28 Thomas answered and said to him,"My Lord and my God!"(John 20:25-28) The Lord expects us to proclaim this declaration from the heart: “My Lord and my God!" To proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, as Thomas did, requires only asking for the help of the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God says:
"No one can say,"Jesus is Lord,"except by the Holy Spirit"(1 Corinthians 12:3).
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you"(Acts 1:8).
If we still cannot say,"Jesus is my Lord and God," we only need to ask for the help of the Holy Spirit.
Heavenly Father, I need your Holy Spirit to restore my life.
I do not want Christ to remain crucified within me. O Jesus, I believe in you as my Lord and Savior.
I believe in your death and resurrection from the dead. Dress me. The Robe of Resurrection: O Lord, remove the robe of death from me, O Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said:
"I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live" (John 11:25).
May your morning be blessed with the light of Christ.
