3- How do you lead a discipleship group?
Who is the leader?
The leader is the one who knows where he is going, and can convince others to walk with him.

Knowing the target audience:
The Bible teaches us, saying: "Know carefully the condition of your sheep, and give your heart to your flocks."(Proverbs 27:23) It is important to know the group from which you choose people to follow.

The follow-up group consists of new believers who have recently accepted the Lord Christ, whether through a revival, a caravan, television programs, the Internet, emails, or individual work. Do not forget that there should be cultural, age, social, and spiritual proximity so that the group is homogeneous.

You and the group agree on a place and time in which you will meet so that it is convenient and available to everyone.

How do you prepare for the group?
1- Prayer: Spend time in prayer.

2- Group needs: Think about the material you use to meet their needs.

3- Main points: Prepare the main points of the lesson and think about them well.

4- Illustrative aids: Think about illustrative aids (drawings, verses, video, hymn).

5- Discussion questions: Prepare discussion questions that cover all paragraphs of the lesson. There are three types of questions: (Observation"What?"- Understanding "Why?" - Application "How?") What? Why? How?

How do you manage the follow-up group?
1- Discussion:

Remember constantly that active participation is required, you are managing the session and not the speaker, so it is preferable for your total talk to be 15 to 20% of the time. Interact with others, and let others interact with each other.

2- Content:

The content is the basis, of course you will find many topics open but try to be objective.

3- Commitment:

Start on time and finish on time.

4- Time:

Note the distribution of time on the main points of the topic.

5- Responsibilities:

Distribute some responsibilities to the group members.

6- Problems:

Deal with problems wisely, there is the shy member, the talkative one, the one who creates problems, and the one who does not participate at all.

7- Evaluation:

Evaluate the time of the session in the group.

8- Prayer:

Spend an opportunity to pray for each person in this group.
