"He who walks in integrity, who does what is right, who speaks what is right in his heart." (Psalm 15:2)
In this verse and the verses that follow, we see the conditions for dwelling with God. We learn about the characteristics of the godly person who dwells in the dwelling place of the Lord.
The first condition/the first characteristic:
1. Walking in integrity means that a person's actions are perfect before people. It also means sincerity and pure intention in every path we take. It is a life of harmony between the inside and the outside, where what we do reflects who we are in our heart and is the result of fellowship with God, based on faith.
The second condition for dwelling in the house of the Lord:
2. He who does what is right.
A. Truth is God, for he does what is commanded by God and what pleases Him.
B - Truth also means justice. He acts with integrity in all his actions, showing no favoritism or injustice to anyone, imitating God.
3-And he who speaks truth in his heart: This is the third quality, and it means the following:
A-He who lives with truth in his heart will speak truthfully. His thoughts and feelings will be evident in his words without hypocrisy, and then they will finally appear in his actions, i.e., conduct himself with perfection and truth.
B-He who lives with truth in his heart will be pure and thus worthy of seeing God.
Pray with me.
O Lord, teach me to act with perfection,
to do what is right, and to be honest even in secret.
Purify my heart and make my speech truthful, without hypocrisy or pretense.
Help me to live as befits one who dwells in Your presence.
Amen.
