“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15)

These are the words of Christ to us, repeated many times and many times.

And they are repeated in the Book of Revelation many times and many times and many times.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.” (Revelation 3:6).

“To him that overcometh, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7)

Christ repeated these words and continues to repeat them

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear." (Matthew 11:15).

The Lord knows that some will hear the word and throw it away and it will have no effect on their lives

Some will hear the word and rejoice in it but it will be lost amidst the worries and problems of life and will not produce any results

Some will hear the word but unfortunately will not change because of their hard hearts

And very few people hear, understand and act upon it and they are the ones about whom the Lord said

"Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear." (Matthew 13:16).

God speaks to us in many ways, so do we listen? The person who wants to listen will overcome all the hardships of life.

How do we hear the voice of God???

God speaks to us in a soft voice sometimes

And sometimes in an audible voice

God speaks to us through His Word (the Bible)

He speaks to us through ordinary people and pastors

God speaks to us through visions and dreams

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions." (Joel 2:28)

And if we do not listen, He speaks to us through troubles and pains.

He speaks to us in different ways

Because He wants us to listen

He wants us to hear, understand, and do the Word

He wants us to overcome

He wants us to be saved

He wants us to repent before it’s too late

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 3:2).

“Remember then from where you have fallen, and repent.” (Revelation 2:5)

The Lord, out of His great love, speaks to us and continues to speak to us. He wants us to hear the voice of the Spirit, to know how to choose the right path before it is too late.

“Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)

Jesus Christ is the Way
Jesus Christ is the Truth
Jesus Christ is the Life

We Must Choose

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
