4- How do you train a disciple to follow up?

First, let us remember together who is the multiplying disciple.

The multiplying disciple:
He is the person who shares the love of Christ with others to win souls, build them up, and disciple them so that they go and preach to others as well.

In this episode, we will talk about several important points:
Preaching is the first step in making disciples.

Follow-up is the second step, in which you help new believers grow in Christ.

Steps to help the new believer grow:
1-   Assure him of his salvation:

The Bible says in the Epistle of John:"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life, and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."(1 John 5:11-12)

2-   Pray for him:
As Christ did before the cross when he prayed for Peter so that his faith would not fail.

3- Visit him:
Enter into a personal relationship with him and spend time with him so that he feels like a new member of a big family, because it is written,"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."(John 1:12)

4- Ensure proper nourishment for him:
The new believer needs to grow daily in his relationship and walk with the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus Himself prayed early in the morning:"And very early in the morning He rose up and went out and departed to a solitary place, and there He prayed."(Mark 1:35)

Encourage him to have a daily retreat with God, a retreat time that includes:
 Worship and praise to God.

Confessing sin.

Praying for himself and others.

Reading the Bible.

5- Ensure him love and tenderness:
Provide an atmosphere of sincere love, let him express what is inside him and feel that you are his brother.

6- Ensure him an atmosphere of acceptance:
Do not make him feel condemned or rejected, if he falls he will rise by the grace of God.

Finally, pray and ask the Lord saying: "Teach me to care for people and pray for them as you did, help me to be burdened with others around me and help them grow in their lives and in their personal relationship with you."
