When I first began studying Christianity, I intended to write a book that would ridicule and mock it.

I thought I would be dealing with either a theological ideology or a philosophical hypothesis,

formulated in theological terms and reforms.

For me, Christianity was simply a religion based on the teachings of its founder.

I thought it contained simple religious principles for one to live by.

However, after extensive research, I discovered that Christianity is not a religion in which people try to reach God through their good works, and that it is not obedience to a pattern of religious rituals.

Rather, it is a relationship with the living God through His Son, Jesus Christ. To my surprise, I found a person who was different from all my expectations.

Other religious leaders presented their teachings and put them at the forefront, but Jesus presented himself.

The other leaders would ask, "How well are you responding to my teachings?" But Jesus asked, "What is your relationship to me?"
