3- How do you see things correctly according to faith?

It is said that a couple were traveling on a ship, and suddenly strong winds came and blew the ship. The wife was very afraid, and asked her husband: "Aren't you afraid?" The husband did not answer her, but he took out a sharp tool and pointed it at her, and asked her: "Are you afraid?" She said to him: "I am not afraid because the weapon is in your hand, and you do not hurt me."

Then the husband said to his wife: "Our affairs, our lives, our future, our present, and everything is in God's hands. The matter depends on our faith and trust in Him. Do we trust in God and place everything related to our life affairs in His hand?"

Definition of faith:

It is trust and walking according to this trust.

Faith is linked to believing in God's promises, and the basis of faith is God's word and promises, and the basic support is the presence of God as a guarantor and contractor.

Discipleship and personal conviction:
There is a difference between conviction in the process of discipleship, and the skills that accompany the disciple. When a person is convinced of the discipleship process, his long-term impact is very effective, even if he does not know the methods and ways of discipleship. This is because he is internally convinced that discipleship is the strategy that Jesus Christ intended to deliver His word to the world.

But on the other hand, if a person has the capabilities and skills, and knows the methods and ways of discipleship, he may bear little fruit - for a while - because he is not personally convinced internally of discipleship, and he quickly stops.

So, personal conviction in the process of spiritual multiplication is what makes a difference.

Guidelines to help you in the discipleship process:
1- Focus on principles more than methods.

2- Focus on meeting people's needs.

3- Focus on developing the thinking process more than skills.

4- Focus on how to trust God more than teaching theories about God.

Application:

1- What are the foundations of discipleship that apply to you while you are discipleship to others?

2- What are the obstacles that prevent you from applying the foundations of discipleship?
