No one can serve two masters

"You cannot serve God and money" (Matthew 6)

Money is very important for our livelihood, meeting our various needs, and educating our children, but on the condition that it does not enslave us, change our nature, or make us do things against the will of our God. Despite its importance to our lives, it can become a fierce, deceptive enemy that can easily control us and distance us from our eternity, no matter how religious we are, pray, or even give our tithes.

Money is a controlling god that has slaves and has a shine, but it is a cruel and deceptive god that always gives people a false sense of security and importance, but everything it buys has an expiration date. Money buys bedrooms, but it cannot buy sleep. Money buys medicine, but it cannot buy health. Money buys food, but it cannot buy appetite. Money buys cars, villas, summer resorts, travel, plane tickets, and all human luxuries. Unfortunately, it can buy many people, but it cannot buy security, joy, and peace of mind.

Money can buy the most expensive jewelry, gold and diamonds, but it cannot buy an inch of heaven. Because heaven was paid for on the cross with every drop of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And the blood of Christ cannot be bought by all the money in the world. With His blood alone we can write our names in the book of life and secure eternity and heaven. With His blood alone we can enter the sanctuary to the bosom of the Father. With His blood alone we can whiten our spiritual garments so that they become white and we have the right to stand before the throne of God. With the blood of Christ alone, when the Heavenly Father sees Him upon us. 

He expresses His wrath against us and forgives us because He does not see us, but He sees the blood of His Son upon us.
